Adjustable Rear Suspension Project

With the need for rear ride height adjustability and custom spring rates, I designed and built this setup in June 2006 just in time for the SRT Nationals in Topeka, KS.  The stock upper mount was removed by drilling out the spot welds.  I made the upper aluminum plate to the same shape at the stock part.   I sourced the threaded adjusters and had them welded to the upper plates using the stock piece as reference to center the new threaded sleeve on the plate.  The lower seat was custom machined with an angle on it so the spring would not be bowed when installed.  The springs are H&R 2.5: diameter racing springs, they are a 6" free length and 550#.  These have been track tested and I have not had any issues with them.  My rear adjusters are also used on Mike Stimac's One Lap Daytona.
